The documentary tells the brief and intense story of a group of young “beat” climbers who, between 1973 and 1975, transferred on rocks the reckless and creative atmosphere of ’68, bringing a revolution in the traditionalist alpine movement in Piedmont and Italy.
An initiatory journey of a tribe of young rebels, inspired by Gian Piero Motti’s theories, many of whom lived their climbing season as a restless inner torment, discovering either yoga or marijuana and feeling either in a rapture or full of rage Their soundtrack was the music by Bob Dylan and Popol Vuh and their courage towards life was mostly motivated by a sort of deep craziness . Their climbing became symbolic and visionary explorations, following paths named Cannabis Rock, Crack of Despair, Visionary Cliffs, Diedro Sanchez.
