
Born in Venezia, 1968.
Chairman of Zenit Arti Audiovisive. Degree in Political Sciences, Contemporary History.
Professional training: from 1988 to 1991 he studies screenwriting and directing. “Programme director” diploma, EEC course on new technologies applied to the entertainment industry, CLAU Turin University in 1992. Story Editor Degree with Arista (EU Media programme training) in 1996. Discovery Campus Masterschool in 2002.
Filmography: in 2004 he writes and directs his first documentary for the international market, The Enigma of Sleep. In 2006 he writes, films and directs Peter’s Dream and an episode of the documentary Checosamanca, co-produced by Eskimosa and RAICinema. In 2007 he writes and directs Space Hackers.
As director he has been working since 1992, directing several documentaries, educationals, videos for institutions and corporate videos, music and theatre videos.
As screewriter he was awarded the 2nd prize for original scripts by RAI-Regione Piemonte in 1986 and he was finalist at Filmaker in Milano in 1988 with La retta ossessione and finalist at Cinema Corto in Bra in 1996 with 6-0, 7-6 and in 2000 with Quarantadue chilometri al giorno.
He taught screenwriting from 1989 to 2001, for Centro Archimede, Skepsis, Comune di Torino, Mediateca del Cinema Indipendente Italiano e DAMS Torino. He was assistant in the workshops held by Francesco Bruni and Angelo Pasquini at the University of Torino. He translated from English into Italian some scripts and two books published in Italy by Lindau, Writing a short film, by Pat Cooper and Ken Dancyger and Stanley Kubrick: a biography, by John Baxter, both in 1998.
