Laboratory for primary schools, including a guided visit to the National Museum of Turin and the making of a short film.
The goal is to introduce the History of Cinema, its language and evolution to the children, using the films and materials preserved by the National Museum of Cinema of Turin.
Each class can choose between 5 genres:
- silent movies: tricks and laughs at the beginning of cinema
- here comes the sound: a shout of fear!
- colour masterpieces: comedy
- cinemascope: adventures
- special effects: science fiction
The class works on writing, shooting and editing the short film based on the genre they choose.
At the end of the school year all the shorts produced are projected at Cinema Massimo.
The laboratories involved dozens of Secondary Schools and hundreds of students of Turin and its province.
The project is carried out by Zenit in collaboration with the National Museum of Cinema of Turin. More information about the Museum’s projects and activities at
