Synopsis:
In 1999 the Correr Museum housed an exhibition in Venice entirely dedicated to Claes Oldenburg, the Swedish-American pop artist. The video follows the set up of the exhibition, showing the fascinating route through the halls of the museum and the opening, which took place in St Mark’s square and in which Oldenburg presented his new sculpture “Lion’s tail”, donated to the City of Venice.
