Reading, acting and performing – Shakespeare, a Drama Workshop, (2002, 85’) video directed by Enrico Cerasuolo, with Brian Ayres, Sharon Fryer and a group of students from Liceo Volta, Torino, educational video produced by Zenit Arti Audiovisive for Loescher Editore.

Synopsis:
This video portrays a drama workshop as a work in progress. The workshop took place at Liceo Alessandro Volta of Torino in June 2001. Held by 2 English actors, Brian Ayres and Sharon Fryer, it was attended by a group of 11 students from the school and an English teacher. All the stages of the workshop were filmed, transmitting the creative atmosphere with a particular style: the crew and film equipments are not hidden but become part of the scene.

The educational aim of the video is to show different dramatizing activities in class, involving students with an average knowledge of the English language and with no experience on stage at all; the other function is to provide teachers with examples of how to lead a group of students in dramatizing exercises and activities that can also be useful in languages other than English.
